Depart Coober Pedy via Nilpinna Station and the Davenport Ranges for the Northern End one of the world’s largest inland lakes, Lake Eyre North. Enter the Lake at the Warburton Groove and track up the Groove for the Warburton Inlet. From here, follow the Warburton Creek through the Simpson Desert before heading for the lush Goyder Lagoon area. Fly over the Goyder Lagoon and pick up the Diamantina River following it into Birdsville for an overnight stop. Spend the night in Birdsville at the Birdsville Hotel and visit the Birdsville Museum the next morning before departing to Innaminka. Track via the Coongie Lakes area enroute to Innaminka (Famous for Burke and Wills) where you will stop for lunch and a walk down to the Cooper Creek. From Innaminka, follow the Cooper Creek to the punt, the ferry that moves cars across the flooded Birdsville track.
From here you will fly towards the Southern area of Lake Eyre North where the deepest section of the Lake lies. Marvel at the colours and salt of the Lake before departing for William Creek where you will stop over for a break and a visit of the iconic William Creek Hotel. Then depart William Creek and overfly the Anna Creek Station homestead which lies on the Worlds Largest Cattle Station, Anna Creek. Fly through the Painted
Hills area and past the Prominent Hill and Cairn Hills mines on your way back
into Coober Pedy. Priced at $1700 per person for 2 people or $1200 per person for 4 or more, this flight does not include food or accommodation. William
Creek (3 Day Tour:) Depart Horsham for Bedourie including a stop off for fuel at Broken Hill and lunch at Innaminka where you can also walk down to the Cooper Creek. Overnight in Bedourie and depart the next morning for Birdsville, visit the Birdsville Museum and have some morning tea before following the Diamantina River for the lush Goyder Lagoon area. Fly over the Goyder Lagoon area and pick up the Warburton Creek flowing through the Simpson Desert into the Northern section of Lake Eyre. Follow the Warburton Groove down into the deeper areas of the Lake before heading for William Creek for the night where you can visit the iconic William Creek Hotel. The next morning fly over the World's Largest Cattle Station,
Anna Creek Station and onwards to Port Pirie on the Spencer Gulf and in the
shadows of the Flinders Ranges for fuel. From Port Pirie head for Horsham over
the Riverland. $2000 per person for 4 people including overnight accommodation at William Creek and Bedourie for 2 couples. Baggage is limited to 10 kg each. Price based on a Cessna 210.
