PASSENGER TESTIMONIALS:
APRIL
2007:
Testimonials
from passengers on a special Inland Sea Air Tour organised with Wrightsair in
conjunction with Great Divide Tours www.4wd.net.au
Hello, Vic. Just to let you know that John and I had a really
wonderful time on our flight over the painted hills and Lake Eyre. What a
wonderful opportunity we have had to see these great sights. Every day the
landscape was different and the people we met along the way all great characters
and full of country hospitality. Please allow me to acknowledge our pilot,
Ross Thomas, a true country gentlemen and full of good humour and patience.
Please pass on our thanks and i know the next groups are in for a great treat.
Thank you for this opportunity. Regards, John and Rosemary (21/4/2007)
The tour was absolutely wonderful - great
pilot, people and sights! Everything was so well organised, and I could not
have had a better experience. My photos are even wonderful!
Thank you for your initiative in putting the
tour together.

We had the most fabulous time - the scenery
was beautiful and the vastness of the place was stunning. And I loved
the towns and the pubs.. Bedourie on a Sat night was such fun.
Great pilot - he went out of his way to
do little extras for us which we really appreciated.

Hi Vic,
Just a quick note to pass
on our feelings re; The Inland Sea Tour - they're all good! Our
days were crammed full with new sights, new friends and great food!
Trevor's network led us to places that we could never have accessed.
We were greeted by Nathan and Jody at Kalamurina Station, and
following afternoon-tea were taken for a "tinnie" ride on a
substantial river that was a sand bed only three weeks ago - hard to
believe! Birdsville really turned it on for us with 35m of rain
on Friday night - probably about half the annual average!
Bedourie gave us a taste of a small outback Queensland town, but
thanks to modern-day communication and transport (and a pilot who is
the 'air' equivalent to Wayne D.on the ground) our engine problem was
addressed and corrected with only minor delay. Our visit to
Boulia was an unexpected bonus - a delightful town. Much
territory was covered on Sunday - Poeppel's Corner, Simpson Desert,
Tirari Desert and of course, Lake Eyre before William Creek and the
magnificent New Painted Hills.
There were many highlights
to the trip, but if a favourite had to be named it would be the
Channel Country, which has come to life after earlier rains and
presents a magnificent palette. We enjoyed the company of our
fellow travellers, the welcome given by all our hosts and most of all,
the unending information, care and professionalism of our
pilot/guide, Trevor. Many thanks for putting the tour together -
we'd love to do more!
Regards
