NEWS just in: Flood waters have now reached Birdsville via the Diamantina River.(20/3/18)

A Wrightsair aircraft flies over flood waters along the Diamantina River just north of Birdsville, 13th March 2018.

It is a slight to see from the air, as the Diamantina swells with projections that flood waters will make their way slowly south

to Lake Eyre North (Kati Thanda) in outback South Australia, later this month or during April 2018.
